By the early 1990s, Big Star had reformed with Chilton and original drummer Jody Stephens alongside Jon Auer and Ken Stringfellow of power-pop trio The Posies. The show included on this deluxe release from Chicago�s Cabaret Metro in June 1994, is an excellent example of the reformed band playing live, and of the strength and power of the Big Star catalogue.
