Although his name will forever be associated with the celebrated Modern Jazz Quartet, vibraphonist Milt Jackson's discography includes multiple sessions as a leader, many of which are now regarded as jazz classics. Among the crown jewels of his discography was the album Plenty, Plenty Soul, which was given a rating of five stars in Down Beat magazine in 1957, a collection of original compositions and the arrangements of the one and only Quincy Jones.
